This page explains what personal information is collected when you use this website or work with me, why it is collected, how it is kept, and what you can ask me to do with it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Who is responsible for your information
The practice known as The Nordic French Therapist is run by Camille Thustrup, which is the data controller for the information described here. The company in charge of all administration is:
- Company: Arvas International AB
- Organisation number: 556652-6132
- VAT number: SE556652613201
- Address: Tvärvägen 4, 148 95 Muskö, Stockholms län, Sweden
For anything to do with your personal data — to see what I hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted — write to me directly at camille@thustrup.se. I read that address myself.
What this website collects
Two things: what you choose to send me through the contact form, and the basic technical information any web server records.
The contact form
When you write to me through the booking page, the form asks for:
- your full name
- your email address
- your phone number
- your date of birth — optional, and you can leave it blank
- whether you want to book a session or ask a question
- what you would like to work on, or your question
- your explicit agreement to be contacted
I use this only to answer you and, if we go ahead, to arrange sessions. It is never used for marketing, never sold, and never shared with anyone for their own purposes.
The legal basis is your consent when you first write to me. If you become a client, the basis becomes the agreement between us. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing me, and I will delete your enquiry.
Your message is emailed to me and also stored in this website’s database, which sits on servers run by my hosting provider. Enquiries that do not become client relationships are deleted within twelve months.
Technical information
The web server records standard access logs, including IP addresses, in order to run and secure the site. The site uses caching, which sets functional cookies. There is no advertising tracking and no third-party analytics on this site.
Session notes
This is the part that matters most, so it is deliberately simple.
My notes from sessions are taken on paper. Nothing about your therapy is typed into this website, stored in the cloud, or kept in any online system. Paper notes are kept in a secure place, and each client is referred to by first name only — no full name is ever attached to therapy notes.
I discuss my work with a professional supervisor in order to give you the best support I can. This happens only with your agreement, and only ever to that end.
Who else can see your information
Only the services needed to run the practice, and only in the role of processors acting on my instructions:
- my hosting provider, which stores this website and its database
- my email provider, which delivers your message to me
- Arvas AB sending you bills. They do not have access to any therapy notes or further personal details (than those needed to bill you).
Beyond that, nobody — unless I am required to disclose something by law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me to:
- show you what information I hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it
- restrict or stop how I use it
- send it to you in a portable format
- withdraw a consent you gave earlier
Email me and I will respond within one month. There is no charge for this.
If you are not satisfied with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), at imy.se.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Significant changes will be mentioned on the page rather than made quietly.
